By the end of this term, students will be able to describe and locate places in selected countries.
They will understand that there are a range of different factors that influence liveability (population, environment, resources, climate, etc). They will know that we use a range of different maps (physical and technology based) in order to locate different places in the world. They will understand that Australia is one of the seven continents of the world. They will know that we use specific language in order to direct and locate people, places and things using maps and globes. |
